Roger Castle is a landscape artist who resides in the beautiful Kent countryside close to the North Downs. Many of Roger’s paintings are of local scenes, but he frequently travels around Britain painting on location, from the wildness of the Cornish coast to the serenity of the Norfolk Broads.
Roger has had no formal training, belonging entirely to the school of self-taught where his studio is the open countryside and his knowledge of painting, landscapes and seascapes, is inspired by Mother Nature herself.
Roger has held several successful one man exhibitions and his work has been exhibited by the New English Art Club, the Royal Institute of Oil Painters, Royal British Artists and the Royal Academy Summer Exhibitions.
Roger was also elected a member of the United Society of Artists.
